Anorexia

Anorexia is an eating habit disorder caused because of starving onself. It is usually seen in youngsters who are driven by the idea of eating less to get a well shaped body. It is a psychological disorder as the person suffering from it does not eat because of his fear of becoming fat. People suffering from it look extremely thin and underweight. The basic symptoms of this disorder are loss of menstrual cycles, weakness, brittle skin, palpitation and obsessiveness toward the calorie content of the food. In a grave situation such eating habits can also lead to shrunken bones, low body temperature, osteoporosis and nervosa impairing the normal growth of the body.
