Jonty Rhodes

A former member of the South African Cricket Team, Jonathan Neil Rhodes was born in 27th July, 1969. Although he is popular for his quick running around the field and as a right handed batsman, he is especially noted for his fielding. According to a report published by Cricinfo, Jonty had the ninth highest number of run outs in ODIs. During his long cricketing career he played first class cricket for teams like Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, Natal and KwaZulu Natal. After retiring from test cricket in 2000, he retired from ODI’s following an injury during the 2003 World Cup. He has also been associated with the South African Hockey Team and was a part of the team during the 1992 Olympic Games.
